A stylist allegedly sued Nicki Minaj for more than $43,000 after allegedly not being paid in 2017 for about a month's worth of work. According to documents obtained by The Blast, Cristina Acevedo claims Nicki did not "pay even one penny" despite hiring the stylist at a rate of $1,500 a day.
Acevedo says that over the course of 24 days she has worked for more than 10 hours a day while the Black Barbie traveled the country in 2017. But Nicki allegedly refused to pay the stylist what she owed at the end of their travels.
Afterwards, Acevedo says she kept pursuing her payment from the artist selling multi-platinum in vain. She claims to have received an email from Nicki that reads "No one pays you $36,000." "Send an email with some sense or send no one else," Nicki allegedly wrote. "This is not your getting rich fast scheme... Girl, goodbye." In response, Acevedo filed a lawsuit against Nicki and her Pink Friday Productions and Pink Personality, Inc. in an attempt to get the money. The stylist sues for $43,200 plus damages to Nicki.
